Social difficulties are one of the main challenges experienced by children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). According to numerous studies, children, teens, and adults with ASD or ADHD can benefit greatly from group therapy. Over time, clients can expect lower stress levels and feel empowered in social situations. SociAbility employs two evidence-based therapy methods: the PEERS® Social Skills Curriculum and the SocialThinking® (Superflex™) Curriculum. We have been offering this therapy method since 2008 and have witnessed most of our clients achieve measurable success. Our groups run on trimesters and are co-facilitated by a therapist and a social skills actor, with 5 – 8 individuals enrolled per group. Groups run for either 60 or 75 minutes once per week. Group enrollment requires the completion of an intake appointment before registration. Group therapy is in high demand, and spots fill up quickly.
